Paul Jaboulet Aîné- AOC Hermitage

Jaboulet is a trading house located in La Roche-de-Glun, south of Hermitage, which produces more than 1.5 million bottles a year. It buys grapes and wines and the quality can therefore vary. Jaboulet also owns two large estates: 25 ha in Hermitage and the 35 ha of Domaine de Thalabert in Crozes-Hermitage. Jaboulet has been managed by Caroline Frey since 2006. Jaboulet's top-of-the-range wine is Hermitage La Chapelle, a blend of grapes from Bessards, Greffieux, Méal, Diognières, Croix and Maison Blanche. It is one of the three best in the appellation. The wines of Jaboulets are of a more Bordeaux type than those of Gérard Chave - Domaine Jean-Louis Chave -
