- The ideal gift with this old vintage of Rivesaltes.
Rivesaltes is a naturally sweet wine produced in the Roussillon region of southern France, from grape varieties such as Grenache (white, gray or black) and Macabeu. This sweet wine, renowned for its aromatic richness, is made by mutage, a technique that consists of adding alcohol to the fermenting must, thus preserving some of the grape's natural sugars.
Philippe Gayral's cuvée L'Archiviste highlights carefully preserved old vintages, offering complex aromas of candied fruit, caramel, nuts and sweet spices. This oenological treasure, to be enjoyed slowly, will appeal to lovers of exceptional wines.
