The Ambonnay Grand Cru Vieilles Vignes Pinot Noir cuvée from Champagne Pierre Paillard is a Blanc de Noirs made exclusively from organically grown Pinot Noir grapes in the prestigious village of Ambonnay, classified as a Grand Cru. This Extra Brut champagne faithfully reflects the chalky terroir of the Montagne de Reims, offering an elegant structure, pronounced minerality, and great aromatic precision. Made from old vines, it embodies the purity and finesse characteristic of Pierre Paillard champagnes.

The vintage:

The 2020 vintage in Champagne is considered exceptional. Despite a wet winter and an early spring, the climatic conditions allowed for optimal ripening of the grapes, resulting in powerful, rich and expressive clear wines, while retaining a beautiful freshness. This vintage is part of a remarkable trilogy with 2018 and 2019, offering champagnes of great quality, balanced and promising for aging.
