Tasting : The Pommard Les Perrières is a great success from Gaunoux, unfolding in the glass with aromas of smoked blackcurrant, wild berries, subtle toast, cedar and spice. On the palate, the wine is deep with superb concentration, luscious acidity and ripe, powdery tannins. It has wonderful balance. This is an elegant, understated Pommard that ranks among the best communal interpretations of the appellation you will find.
