Pommard Les Noizons 2017 - Nicolas Rossignol
From the Pommard appellation, this red wine is made from the Pinot Noir grape, the emblem of the Côte de Beaune. The vines, located on well-exposed slopes, benefit from a clay-limestone soil that gives the wine elegant structure and great aromatic depth.
On tasting, this Pommard reveals a complex aromatic palette. On opening, intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry mingle with spicy and slightly woody notes. On the palate, the texture is silky with fine, well-integrated tannins. The balance between freshness and power offers a persistent finish, marked by nuances of undergrowth and licorice. This wine stands out for its ability to evolve elegantly over the years.
