- Located at the top of the hillside at an altitude of about 270 metres, the Clos des Chênes offers a magnificent view of the terroirs of Volnay and Meursault.

VINIFICATION AND AGEING
- The plant material added to the quality of the terroir and the exposure of the Clos des Oaks give small concentrated grapes, requiring less
- intervention during the winemaking process.
- Harvest: manual followed by manual sorting and optical sorting of the grapes
- Vinification: after destemming of the grapes, the ripest and healthiest berries are vatting for 15 to 18 days for cold prefermentation maceration then for 5 to 6 days for the alcoholic fermentation. These stages may be punctuated by several punching of the cap and pumping over.
- Ageing: in new barrels (30%) and in barrels of one to two wines, preceded by a
- pneumatic pressing with juice separation
- Duration of breeding: 15 to 18 months
TASTING
This wine has notes of black fruits and spices with a fleshy substance and tannins that are well present. A great wine for laying down.
Serving temperature between 15° and 17°C.
