The Plot : Volnay " Santenots " is located at the meeting of Pinot Noir from the North and Chardonnay from the South. This makes this vineyard special because it can be planted with either Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. The soil of Volnay "Santenots" is varied, which allows this vineyard to create a red wine that is lighter and more elegant than those produced on higher soils.
