Presentation of the Domaine

A very beautiful estate rising from the Languedoc. It is located in Montner and was created in 2001 by Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet. A vineyard of 25 hectares with low yields: 17 hl/ha on average. The maturing is reasoned, simplicity is the key. Most of the wines are matured in concrete vats so that the wine can breathe and the fruit is preserved. The winegrowers created the estate by taking over some superb plots of land which resembled those of the Côte-Rôtie. Carignan vines on a vein of quartz; a hillside with white soil, set in the middle of black schists. This place was called the Roc Blanc because nature had given this bright vein of quartz. A biodynamic estate with plots of marly and calco-schist schists which are really special. The Roc des Anges estate
