- One of Rostaing's best cuvées. Scents of crushed stone and red raspberry give the impression of a faultless transmission of the terroir combined with incredible purity of fruit.Rich and velvety, this is an astonishing expression of Cote Rotie that should age effortlessly for several decades.
- Cellaring: Can be drunk after 5 years in the cellar and can be kept for several decades (2040+).The most tannic of this year's 'big three' bottlings, Cote Rotie la Cote Blonde has elegant notes of mixed herbs entwined around bold boysenberry fruit.It has abundant tannins that firm up on the long finish.Embryonic, but so promising, it should come into its own in about five years' time.
