Château Les Grandes Murailles 2014
Grand cru classé de St Emilion
92/100 Parker
Reviewed by : Neal Martin
Tasting period: 2019 - 2032
'Les Grandes Murailles 2014 reveals an opulent, ostentatious bouquet, marked by notes of kirsch, strawberry, lightly burnt leather and red plum. Although it could have verged on excess, it retains a fine precision. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with supple tannins, well-integrated oak and a silky texture, building in intensity to a magnificent, slightly spicy finish. Les Grandes Murailles 2014 has great elegance, exceeding my expectations, and should evolve harmoniously for 12-15 years.'
