Clos la Gaffelière 2000
St Emilion Grand Cru
Created in 1985, Clos La Gaffelière is vinified and aged with the same care as the first wine of the Family. 90% of the wine is made from plot selections from the foot of the slopes, and is produced in a specific vat room and cellar.
Depending on the vintage, young vines from the slopes may also be added.
The blend is mainly made of Merlot (over 90%) and Cabernet Franc.
In some foreign markets, Clos Gaffelière is sold under the label Dame Gaffelière.
