Saint Joseph 2012 Reflet - François Villard
Great wine from the Villard estate.
(89 - 91)+/100 Parker
Cellaring: 2013 - 2023
Tasted by Jeb Dunnuck in 2013: "Looking at the St. Josephs, the 2012 St. Joseph Reflet sees 70% whole cluster fermentation and 50% new oak. Coming from the northern part of the appellation, it is loaded with black pepper, charcoal, spice and darker styled fruit, and shows a firm masculine edge on the palate. A serious concentration, it should evolve easily for over a decade."
