Tasting : The Santenay 1er Cru Gravières unfolds in the glass with aromas of blackcurrant, forest floor and violet. On the palate, it is rich and tannic in its youth, once again distinguishing itself as the most structured wine in the cellar. Built for the long haul, it should be superb with a decade of bottle age.
