Tasting note for Valandraud 2016 :
By Lisa Perrotti-Brown on November 30, 2018: 'The garnet-purple-coloured 2016 Valandraud is a marvel on the nose with intense scents of baked black plums, cherry compote, coffee beans and liquorice . There are also notes of hoisin, cedar and sautéed herbs. Rich and decadent on the palate, it has a firm structure, grainy tannins and a fantastically long finish."
Château Valandraud is a true gem of the Saint-Émilion appellation, renowned for its exceptional quality and unique character. Founded in the 1990s by Jean-Luc Thunevin, this estate has established itself as one of the great names in Bordeaux, thanks to an artisanal approach and meticulous attention to every stage of winemaking.
