On the twin hill of the Furstentum, also facing south, the Mamburg dominates the village of Sigolsheim. It has calcimagnesic soils on a base of calcareous conglomerates and marls of tertiary covering.
In the Kaysersberg valley, situated between 210 and 350 m above sea level, it benefits from an optimal period of sunshine.
As early as 783, history reveals that the wines of Mambourg were very famous. Numerous convents and lords were owners and gave them their letters of nobility.
The Gewurztraminer Mambourg, harvested in beautiful over-ripeness, offer generosity of body, elegance and aromatic richness.
