Domaine Zind-Humbecht Pinot Gris Rotenberg - Selection de grains nobles 2008 (half bottle)
Rotenberg is a terroir that has produced many sweet wines in the past and will continue to produce VT or SGN in the future. However, as on the Heimbourg, bio-dynamic cultivation and many changes in the management of the trellising mean that physiological maturities are now earlier. In short, we can harvest earlier and riper grapes that can produce drier wines. The capacity of this terroir to produce low yields also allows us to ensure a beautiful mineral complexity to the wine and a richness that is not linked to sugar. Facing west, on a poor red limestone soil, the Pinot-Gris has found its refuge in the Rotenberg!
