1990 Bordeaux Wines

All great Bordeaux vintages are born from warm years and the 1990 Bordeaux vintage is no exception.

1990 Burgundy Wines

In Burgundy, it's a total success too. The spring was dry, but the cool weather in June led to uneven and prolonged flowering. Nevertheless, the grapes were caught up by the ripening process during the hot summer that followed and rain in September prevented any stress due to the drought.

Rhône 1990 Wines

And to continue in perfection, 1990 was a perfect vintage for the Rhône. A beautiful year in northern Rhône, despite the near-drought. Many producers, such as Guigal, had to continue harvesting until October to ensure that the grapes were fully ripe. In the south, the rains that fell in August allowed the grapes to ripen quickly, with the harvest beginning on September 10th.
